RLUK RapidILL Webinar

RapidILL is a resource sharing system, developed to provide very fast, cost effective article requesting and delivery through Interlibrary Loan. Liverpool University has nine months experience of using RAPID. In this webinar Phil Sykes and Helen Hall will

• Give a practical demonstration of the system.
• Explain how it has enabled a service transformation at Liverpool, both in terms of efficiency and speed of supply.
• Unpack the potential RAPID has to enable RLUK to mitigate the effects of cancellation of a Big Deal and to fight back against exploitative price rises from publishers.

The webinar will be relevant both to those who have a practical interest in ILL operation and those whose perspective is primarily strategic.
